MIQU began with something we could not unsee.

In the Emirates, a single day can move through extremes.

That observation became a question:

What if skincare were created for the environments skin actually lives through?

That question became MIQU.

FIVE YEARS BEFORE THE HOUSE, THE WORK BEGAN.

MIQU was not created around a launch date. More than five years before its introduction, the research and development had already begun. The first formulas took more than four years to develop. Formulas were reconsidered. Textures refined. Ingredients examined not for their prominence, but for their purpose. Each product had to justify its place individually — and make greater sense as part of a system. Some formulas reached the standard. Others are still being developed. There will always be another ingredient to promote, another trend to follow, another reason to launch something new. None of those is reason enough for MIQU. A product enters the House only when there is a reason for it to exist.

The Emirates did more than give MIQU an address.

They gave us a way of seeing.

Here, environmental contrast is difficult to ignore. Exterior heat meets engineered cooling. Humidity gives way to dryness. Powerful light meets long hours indoors. International travel can move the body between climates in a matter of hours.

But what is pronounced here is not exclusive to here.

Across the world, modern life increasingly moves between natural and controlled environments, seasons and interiors, cities and aircraft, exposure and shelter.

The geography changes.

The principle does not.

The Emirates are MIQU's origin.

The world is its horizon.

EVERY FORMULA MUST HAVE A REASON.

MIQU does not begin with an ingredient and build a story around it. We begin with the skin. With what it encounters. What changes around it. What it repeatedly has to adapt to. Only then do we formulate. Every ingredient must have a function. Every texture must serve the experience. Every formula must have a distinct role. Every product must earn its place within the House. Not more for the sake of more. Only what deserves to exist.
